    Do/No follow matters

You have to think always not to be de-indexed from any search engines by any means. It may be your fault or maybe your visitors. Why visitors? Visitors are always welcomed, not!? Not all the visitors are always welcomed, specially for blogs. They are good for you while they are visiting, tagging, social book marking and commenting. But, if you make your comments rel="dofollow", it may become a huge spamming board containing so many bad links and associated with link farms that will turn you down to search engines.

Though, it's a good news for new bloggers, every good web 2.0 sites make this comment ares rel="nofollow" by default. And thus spammers and link farms avoid these blogs. If you make this a "dofollow", you may find some extra visitors, but risk your blogs to search crawlers. Talking about white hat techniques, mashed up with a gray hat.

    Content matters

Always. Yes content always matters. Qualitative and informative contents always makes a good impression on visitors and thus reflects on crawlers. Put as much information as you can get and your visitor may need or searching for. Descriptive contents with proper image will make your site good comeback of visitors. Don't forget to make proper tags for images and your contents. Crawlers will look for your tags. Try to combine authentic, related and popular keywords for your tags.

If you put un-necessary, non related and false keywords, you may find some visitors for a limited periods, but, wont last longer. Crawling algorithms will find out this falsified tags. And maybe some annoyed visitor also report your site to google or other search engines as abuse/spam. Some SEO people still uses this black hat method to earn quick money. But, site owner may get notice from google to resolve this or even de-indexed without notice.

    Keywords Stuffing

Everybody should be aware of keyword stuffing to their respective blogs or websites. You should check for keyword density in your page content. Over use of targeted keywords will result negative user experience and can do harm to your site ranking to search engines. Some people uses techniques to put more targeted keyword on their sites. This technique involves grabbing the targeted keywords and then placing them on the page in such a way that they will be read by search engine spiders, but not by human visitors.

They can be located in a hidden div tag, same colored font as of background or even within HTML comment tags or in ALT attributes. Now, after Penguin updates of Google, many sites are suffering for de-indexing or even black listed by them for this hidden tags, texts and keyword stuffing. Many sites also suffering from de-listing under DMCA rules.

But, you can submit your site to google for reconsideration after wiped out those hidden tags and texts.
