    Lowercasing

Option: DB_PORTABILITY_LOWERCASE Field name case (upper- or lowercasing letters) varies between DBMSs. Some leave the case exactly the way it was in the CREATE TABLE statement, some uppercase everything, and some are case-insensitive and others not. This option always lowercases column names when fetching results.

Use lowercase numerals. Standard numerals are the size of capital, or uppercase, letters. Their best uses are for standalone numbers like your house number, or, because they have a single set width, for columns of tabular material. Because they line up in columns, they are also referred to as lining numerals.
